Early European Settlers to NZ

Room 15 have been finding out about the Early Europeans who came to NZ. We read about the Whalers and Sealers, Missionaries, Settlers and Traders. We wrote scripts as if we were one of these people and recorded our scripts with our animations of the European ships arriving in NZ playing in the background. Here are the ones that were finished and played on P.E.N.N. our school news programme.

Wow! I love learning about NZ history. Well done for creating an interesting and informative movie about what you have learnt. I like the way that you all recorded your scripts and dressed the part of the characters. Awesome animations too!

Hi Room 15, I love your class blog on NZ history. It was neat to see you all dressed up as early New Zealanders - you all looked amazing and really looked the part. I loved listening to what you had all learnt. Keep learning :-)

Hi, Room 15. I am Chris from New York CIty. Great job with the history and scripts of early settlers of NZ. Many people settled there for different reasons. Will I be able to see a sequel about what life was like for the settlers after they arrived in New Zealand?
