Check out what we have been up to.

In term 2 Room 15 had to create a hyperstudio stack that showed the components of Earth, an animation of a volcano erupting with an explanation about how it erupts and also had to make an animation showing them running away from the ash in the unlikely event of Maungarei erupting.
Here are the students who scored the tops marks for their projects.

Hi Litia, my name is Ms. McGaw and I am a 4th grade teacher in New York City. You did a great job with showing the parts of inner earth. I like the way you showed labeled images so that we could see exactly what happens when the volcano erupts. I made sure that my computer volume and the volume on the video was up but I was unable to hear your video. Perhaps test that and re-post, but great job! Because everything was labeled so nicely, I was able to understand everything you were trying to show, that makes for a great teacher!

Hi Room 15
I like the way how there was a real Volcano and fake lava. It looked really cool.
